2020 Summer Workshop

The Arkansas Communication and Theatre Arts Association (ACTAA) hopes you will join us July 12-16, 2020, for the annual summer workshop, virtually hosted by Arkansas State University – Beebe. Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the 2020 Summer Workshop will offer several live sessions via Zoom conference technology and a variety of pre-recorded sessions available in an on-demand (watch at your own pace) format.

The three-day conference, features 10 sessions of professional development (with tracks for New Teachers, Oral Communication, Debate, Forensics, and Theater educators), public forums for competition events, sessions for associational business, and several opportunities for networking with educators from across the state at various stages of experience.

Whether you’re a new teacher or coach looking for resources, learning more about these disciplines, or an experienced coach refining your skills, you’ll make meaningful connections with other communication educators who you can collaborate with throughout the year.

ACTAA is an approved Professional Development provider for the Arkansas Department of Education.
